Lifestyles Ideas Management - Household, Gas and Electrical Tips

I am down with a flu yesterday and feeling a little better today, posting about my travel to South China when I can find the time to write.
Household Tips
Tip 1
To remove grease stains on your carpet.
Shake some cornstarch over the stain and let it set overnight or for at least eight hours.
Use vacuum to suck away the dry cornstarch and the stain will disappear too.

Tip 2
For clothes that run color, put them in a pail of hot water.
Add a little bit of salt; soak for a day, hand-wash then hang dry.
This will make the colors stick and subsequent washes can be with your normal machine load.

Tip 3
Remove rust from knives by plunging them into a large onion three or four times.

Avoid piggyback connections. Overloading can occur if too many cords are connected to outlets designed for only one or two plugs.
